Who am I?
My name is Alison Wainwright. I am a well-being coach and I work with women (mainly over the telephone) to help them improve their confidence and self-esteem. Many people hold limiting beliefs about themselves often without even knowing eg I’m not good enough, I can’t do it, success is for other people, etc. Coaching enables you to examine these beliefs objectively and to consider how they hold you back in life. It then helps you to develop more realistic and supportive beliefs which enable you to start acting differently to bring about positive changes in your life.
Basically, I help people to develop supportive and respectful relationships with themselves. Once you have a strong relationship with yourself, you have a healthy foundation for the rest of your life. You feel worthy of the good things in life and so you act in ways which greatly increase your chances of getting that great job, finding a loving relationship, earning more money. In short, you open yourself up to new and exciting opportunities which you probably didn’t notice in the past.
What am I offering?
I am offering a limited number of free telephone coaching sessions to women who want to make positive changes in their lives, in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental setting.
It’s important to note that coaching is NOT counselling. Counselling tends to focus upon issues from the past whereas coaching is more future focused. It is about making a decision as to how you’d like your life to be in future and then taking positive steps towards your goal(s).
I work with people who are ready and motivated to take steps (no matter how small) towards positive change. It doesn’t matter if you’re nervous (this is completely natural) or feel it’s not possible (this is just a belief holding you back), the key is your willingness and desire to change. If you have this anything is possible. I believe that ALL people have tremendous potential – no matter what their life has been like in the past. You have the ability to make enormous changes to your life and I will support you all the way.

I had six coaching sessions with Alison at a time when I was trying hard to get myself back on track after a very difficult time in my life and I found our sessions extremely helpful. She was very sympathetic and understanding, whilst also challenging me to really question some of my underlying thoughts and assumptions. I came away with some constructive action points, more confidence in myself and my values, and some insights into why I behave in the way that I do. I would thoroughly recommend her as a life coach. (Female, age 30’s)
I found working with Alison some of the most useful time I have ever spent. She gave me the time I needed to set my own agenda and use the sessions as I needed. She didn’t intrude or try to impose her ideas or suggestions on me, she just asked timely, insightful questions that enabled me to find the answers I was looking for myself. Her quiet, steady, underlying trust and confidence in me to find my own way forward was inspirational. At the end of our sessions I had achieved exactly what I wanted but more than I ever really thought I would. Absolutely fantastic (Female, age 20’s)
I found Alison’s gentle voice and positive style of coaching extremely reassuring. She worked with me on a much deeper level than I expected and as a result, I found myself feeling highly motivated to move towards my goals. She challenged me to think about why I was living the life that I was and encouraged me to take small manageable steps forward. I am grateful to her for her support (Female, age 30’s)
