Book your place on the EDI Level 1 Award in Disability Awareness.
The Wellbeing Project is delighted to offer you this free training programme focusing on Disability Awareness.
The course has been developed for individuals who wish to:
- • Understand the wider context of disability and its relevance in the workplace.
• Understand the differences between disability and impairment
• Acquire an understanding of the social model of disability
• Gain insight into the barriers that disabled people face
• Learn about the legislative acts and duties in place to protect disabled people.
This accredited course will involve 4 half day training sessions, 10.00am - 12.00pm, running over a 4 week period. The dates are:
- • 4th October 2010
• 11th October 2010
• 18th October 2010
• 25th October 2010
