Evaluation Report from the 'Ignite Your Life' Community Resilience Events November 2009.
The events were commissioned by Halton and St Helens NHS to support the implementation of its Commissioning Strategic Plan: Early Detection of Depression and Community Resilience.
The aim of these unique events was to skill up the local population with useful and practical skills to stay well during difficult times.
The 3-hour sessions include workshops that teach people:
- • Confidence skills
• How to stay strong
• How to form friends
• How to look after your own and other people’s mental health.
• How to spot the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems.
