The Wellbeing Project will be hosting a Financial Diversification workshop for social Enterprises.

Social Enterprise Network in association with SELNET (Social Enterprise Lancashire Network) is providing a number of fully-funded workshops for social enterprises across the Merseyside area.

The next workshop is being held on

  • Date: Tuesday 7th December
  • Venue: at the Wellbeing Project CIC, 5-7 Haydock St, St Helens, WA10 1DD
  • Time: 9.30am-4.00pm

The workshops are designed to help your social enterprise increase turnover through trading and funding and by securing public sector contracts.

Social enterprises and civil society organisations are now facing a whole new set of challenges to survive. This interactive workshop helps to prepare for increasingly competitive markets, new commissioning and procurement circumstances and generating income from commercial activity, all while maintaining the ethical social objectives of the social enterprise.

At the end of the Financial Diversification workshop participants will gain an understanding in:

  • The potential for alternative revenue sources and how to access them
  • Developing operational plans and milestones from strategic objectives
  • Aligning your offer, promotion and therefore increased levels of paid for serivces
  • Opportunities in the Public and Private sectors- providing a solution
  • How bids are assessed and what will make commissioners take note of your organisation- your benefits
  • What help and assistance is available
