Have a look at our new film about the 'Wellbeing for Mums and Dads to be' Programme...

A pioneering new health programme for people living in Halton and St Helens who are expecting a baby...

‘Wellbeing for Mums and Dads to be...’ is a unique programme funded by NHS Halton and St Helens, that aims to educate parents about the simple things they can do to improve their own health and wellbeing, as well as improve the life chances of their baby.

The 3 hour sessions include workshops on the following topics:

  • How to spot the signs and symptoms of post natal depression and other common mental health problems, and importantly what you can do to help yourself if you’re experiencing difficulties.
  • Top tips for baby wellbeing: simple steps that parents can introduce into their daily routines to support baby development and ensure their child has the best start in life.
  • Ways to improve the quality of your family time, so that everyone feels supported and nourished.

The film evaluates sessions that ran in Halton and St Helens recently.
