6 Week Guitar Course Running September 2010.
We're running a guitar course for all abilities and we'd like YOU to come along.
- Have you always fancied having a go at playing the guitar?
- Do you already have some experience but would like to learn more?
- Have you played in a band?
Whatever your level of ability we'd like you to come along. You'll meet like minded people, learn some new skills and have lots of fun!
No experience required, you don't have to be able to read music and there are no auditions. All abilities are welcome.
What will I learn?
- How to play chords
- Guitar maintenance
- Scales theory
- Intonation
- Tuning
Moreover, during the 6 week course you'll have the opportunity to learn how to play music from the 60’s, including Rock ‘n’ Roll, as well as how to play some contemporary popular music songs.
The course will also look at music and effect on health and wellbeing.

The course will commence on Wednesday 22nd September 2010, 7.00pm - 8.00pm with a free taster session.

Is there a charge for the course?
The first session is a free taster session. After this each session will be charged at a subsidised rate of £5.00 per session.
For those who would like to pay up front for the course, there will be an additional £5.00 discount, bringing the total cost of the course to £20.00.
