What is the Wellbeing Project?

  • We are a pioneering social enterprise set up in 2005 in Halton and St Helens.
  • We provide a range of community based activities for everyone who would like to improve their mental wellbeing.
  • We run self help groups, training sessions, educational programmes, and hobby and interest groups.
  • We also deliver innovative conferences and community events that teach people how to stay resilient during difficult times.
  • The Wellbeing Project is delivering sustainable improvements in mental health and wellbeing for the local community and beyond...

Social Prescribing

Social Prescribing is about linking people up to activities in the community that they might enjoy and benefit from. It's about connecting people to non medical sources of support within the community.

There is increasing evidence to support the use of social interventions for people experiencing a range of common mental health problems.
