Book Your Free Place Today!
The Wellbeing Project is working in partnership with the Barnardo’s Targeted Mental Health in Schools (TaMHS) Project to deliver a series of community resilience projects for teachers and parents in the Sutton area during February.
The project aims to skill up staff and parents with top tips to help them stay strong during difficult times, as well as to help them to enhance the wellbeing of their children and young people.
The ‘Ignite Your Life’ events are targeted specifically at teachers and are FREE to attend. They are two and a half hours in length and will be taking place on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th February, running from 4.30pm - 6.30pm at the Wellbeing Project Training Suite, 5-7 Haydock Street, St Helens WA10 1DD. Lunch is provided.
The events will include workshops focusing on:
- • Laughter & humour, and identifying our feel good factors.
• How to improve your mental wellbeing, looking at the 5 ways to wellbeing.
• How to tap into your creative potential and that of your pupils.
In addition to this, there will be a number of FREE wellbeing workshops taking place for parents who would like to learn more about wellbeing and staying strong.
Barnardo’s Targeted Mental Health in Schools explains “There are lots of simple, practical things we can do to manage our stress levels and to improve our mental wellbeing. These events will give teachers and parents the skills they will need to get through challenging times and will also provide useful tools to help them to enhance the wellbeing of children and young people”.
The events are being funded by Barnardo’s TAMH’s Project which aims to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people and families.
Places are available on a first come first serve basis, and everyone who books a place and attends a workshop or event will receive a £10 Love2Shop voucher which can be used in most high street shops.
