I am a Director and the Chief Executive of the Wellbeing Project CIC.
I am a Social Entrepreneur and Business Advisor with over 25 years experience helping businesses in the public and private sector to grow and expand.
My work has taken me to many places around the world. I have established several successful businesses here in the UK and in Dubai, UAE.
I have strong links with the social enterprise community in India, having been invited to travel across the country, to see first hand how social enterprises are transforming the lives of millions.
Key career achievements to date include being the runner up of the North West Development Agency’s Women in Business Award 2008, being nominated for a Spirit of Merseyside Award, as well as winning the UnLtd Social Enterprise Competition, and securing several major funding grants and commercial contracts here in the UK and abroad.
My particular specialism is in the development and expansion of the commercial aspects of social enterprises, which ultimately brings about the sustainability of the organisation and its social activities.
