Wellbeing Project Gets a Big One

The Wellbeing Project, a new business based in St Helens, has just heard that it will be receiving a £92000 grant from Comic Relief.

The Wellbeing Project is the UK’s first ‘mental health & wellbeing’ consultancy service marketing a range of innovative services and materials.

Mark Swift, Director, described how the business invests in the local community, ‘Any revenue generated from our business activities is used to fund the promotion of positive mental health and well-being in our community, and to create employment and volunteering opportunities for individuals who are ready to take supported steps back to work..’

Laura Roling, UK Grants Officer, commented, ‘The Wellbeing Project is an innovative response to the need for people to know how to look after their own mental health. We hope that the grant from Comic Relief will provide the boost the project needs to capitalise on its potential and become a successful and sustainable social enterprise.
