Wellbeing Project to be Showcased at Primhe's 2nd Annual Conference, 18th & 19th April, Warwick

Primhe is the UK primary care professional charity dedicated to mental health and the care of those with mental illness in primary care settings. Their mantra is "bringing 'mental' into the mainstream".

Following on from Primhe's highly successful first conference in London in January 2006, the charity has announced dates for its bumper added-value Second Annual Conference 'Wise Up!', 18th & 19th April 2007, Warwick.

The conference will focus on the power of social movement and co-production in the delivery of fit-for-purpose health and social care services and emotionally healthy communities. “Wise Up” – is about helping you to hear what others are doing, and to learn what you can do to get involved, beyond mere tinkering, and make a difference.

The Wellbeing Project CIC is to be showcased at this conference, which is a major event in the mental health professional calendar.

Karen Machin, Business Manager, is understandably "thrilled' that the Wellbeing Project will be acknowledged as positive practice on a national platform.

Speakers at the event will include none other than:

  • Professor Louis Appleby
  • Professor David Colin-Thome
  • Professor Antony Sheehan
  • Paul Mainwaring
  • Mark Swift (Founder, The Wellbeing Project CIC)
  • Dr Phil Hammond
  • Dr Huw LLoyd
  • Dr David Shiers
  • Dr Jo Smith
