Wellbeing Project takes centre stage at Primhe’s 2nd Annual Mental Health Conference in Warwick!
Mark Swift, founder of the Wellbeing Project was invited to speak at Primhe’s 2nd Annual Conference in Warwick 18-19 April.

Primhe is a leading primary care mental health charity. This year’s conference, “Wise Up!” focused on social movement and its role in developing and enhancing primary care mental health provision.
It was an opportunity to showcase the most innovative projects from around the country that support people experiencing mental health distress to recover and move on.
Mark Swift took the centre stage, along with none other than Prof Louis Appleby, the National Director for Mental Health, Dr Chris Manning, CEO Primhe, and David Shiers, National Director for Early Intervention in Psychosis.
Mark presented on supported employment opportunities for client’s experiencing mental health distress, talking openly about his personal experiences of a period of depression, and how he had been supported back to work by what was then St Helens PCT, through its innovative Volunteer Mental Health Promotion Team.
Mark went on to discuss the Wellbeing Project, the country’s first mental health consultancy in St Helens, which is providing similar opportunities for people to return to work.
