‘Wellbeing Retreat’ in association with the Wellbeing Project and Trafford Hall

The Wellbeing Project is working in partnership with the National Communities Resource Centre to bring to you a unique wellbeing residential programme absolutely free of charge to residents of Halton and St Helens.

Set in a background of luscious green space and rolling woodland, this one and a half day retreat will include an overnight stay in the awe inspiring grounds of the beautiful Georgian stately home ‘Trafford Hall'.

This programme offers a unique opportunity for participants to escape from the busy day to day life, and indulge in some peace and tranquillity.

All participants will have separate rooms with en-suite facilities and all meals are included free of charge. The transport to and from the location has been kindly funded by St Helens Mind.

Participants will have the opportunity to partake in some interactive learning opportunities such as:

  • • How to look after your wellbeing.
    • Creative activities
    • Exploring green spaces
    • Evening entertainment
    • Sports and leisure activities

The programme will run from Saturday 2nd October 2010 departing at around 10.00am from the Wellbeing Project HQ and returning on Sunday 3rd October 2010, at approximately 3.00pm.

Are you interested?

We have 15 free places to give away. If you’d like to come on the retreat, we’re asking applicants to forward a short letter or email (of no more than 250 words) explaining:

  • • Why you’d like to come on the retreat
    • What you’d hope to gain from attending

Applicants are welcome from men and women aged 18 years and older.

The closing date for entries is Friday 17th September 12.00pm.

Applications will be judged by a panel and winning applicants will be informed by Monday 20th September 2010.

The National Communities Resource Centre is a registered charity offering training and support to all those living and working in low-income areas throughout the United Kingdom to develop their skills, confidence and capacity to tackle problems and reverse poor conditions.
