Wellbeing Project announced as one of the winners of the ultimate social Enter-Prize!

The Wellbeing Project has successfully competed to win a two-hour mentoring session with a Social Enterprise Ambassador - one of the country's top Social Entrepreneurs.

As some of the most entrepreneurial and ethical brains in Britain, the Social Enterprise Ambassadors represent a wealth of experience and know-how, and this February they launched a competition to offer people the chance to win the benefit of their expertise.

Mark Swift, Founder and Project Manager of the Wellbeing Project is one of the winners of the competition and will be spending time with Craig Deaden-Phillips.

“I'm really looking forward to meeting one of the country's most successful social entrepreneurs, hearing more about his journey, and what we might learn as we grow and develop our own social enterprise, the Wellbeing Project,” he said.

Craig Dearden-Phillips set up 'Speaking Up' to give disabled people a voice.

People with mental health problems, learning or physical disabilities can be overshadowed in society, but with the help of Speaking Up, they can be empowered.

Speaking Up has grown into a £5.5 million turnover social enterprise operating across England, and helping more than 4,000 people a year.

The mentoring session will take place on Monday 21st June 2010 at the Speaking Up Head Quarters in Cambridge.
