St Helens' Ways To Wellbeing
St Helens' Ways to Wellbeing is a new publication that promotes awareness of community assets in St Helens.
It aims to raise the public's awareness of many of the interesting things to see and do in the borough that have been shown to enhance a person's mental wellbeing and resilience.
The publication is part a broader initiative between the Coalition of Disabled People and the Wellbeing Project based in St Helens that aims to mobilise the communities creative skills to build community resilience across the borough.
The publication was written by local volunteers - many of whom have had personal experiences of mental health problems and will be distributed throughout the borough over the coming weeks in the hope that it will support local people to find simple ways to enhance their mental resilience during what are very difficult economic times for many.
St Helens Ways to Wellbeing is organised into five parts, each representing one of the Five Ways To Wellbeing. Within each section there are interesting articles about things to see and do locally, including a seven day guide, features, photos and creative contributions.
