The Wellbeing Project is pleased to announce a new project working with Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists.
'Wellbeing for Hairdressers' is a bespoke event for professionals working in the field of hair and beauty.
This free event is funded by Halton and St Helens NHS, and aims to skill up Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists to stay strong during difficult times, as well as offering simple tips to enhance their own and their clients mental wellbeing.
The events are open to Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists (including trainees) working in Halton and St Helens.
The event will include workshops on the following topics:
- How to support your clients
- How to build positive relationships
- How to keep yourself strong
- Tips to improve the quality of your working life
There will also be a special presentation from Top Celebrity Hairstylist and TV and Radio Personality Herbert of 'Herbert of Liverpool'.

Paula Gamester and Dr Laura Pogue, Co-directors of the Wellbeing Project explain how "this bespoke event will provide a unique opportunity for professionals working directly with the public to learn practical skills to stay strong, how to stay confident and how to help themselves and their clients feel good”.
The event will take place on:
- Tuesday 27th April 2010
- Venue: St Helens Chamber, Salisbury Street WA10 1FY
- Starting at 5.45pm for registration and refreshments
- Finishing at 8.15pm
