Wellbeing Walks - taking smalls steps to better health

On Saturday 1st March 2008, the No Secrets self-injury support groups, The Wellbeing Project and the St Helens Ranger Service have worked together to arrange a short walk (3 miles).

The walk is child-friendly (5 years +) and we are encouraging people of all ages to come along and join us, not only to show their support, but to improve their own physical and mental wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and see the countryside of St Helens.

The walk will begin at 1pm starting from Sankey Valley Country Park Visitor Centre, and will end at Bankes Park in Billinge. A mini bus has been arranged to take walkers back to the starting point. Park rangers from Sankey Valley will be leading the walk, and their help and support in organising this event is greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in coming on the walk or have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Contact Kerri (No Secrets, and The Wellbeing Project) on:
Email – kerri@wellbeingproject.co.uk
Telephone – 07964 226657
Alternatively, you can contact the Rangers at Sankey Valley on 01744 677 772.

We look forward to hearing from you soon,
No Secrets, The Wellbeing Project and St Helens Rangers’ service.
