Check out the new film from the 'Wellbeing for Hairdressers' event

This free event was funded by NHS Halton and St Helens and aimed to skill up Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists to stay strong during difficult times, as well as offering simple tips to enhance their own and their clients mental wellbeing.

The event included workshops on the following topics:

  • How to support your clients
    How to build positive relationships
    How to keep yourself strong
Tips to improve the quality of your working life

Paula Gamester and Dr Laura Pogue, Co-directors of the Wellbeing Project said "this bespoke event proved to be a fantastic success with over 55 people attending".

"It offered up a unique opportunity for professionals working directly with the public to learn practical skills to stay strong, how to stay confident and how to help themselves and their clients feel good”.

This event is one of a number of bespoke events and training opportunities targeted at staff that work directly with the public.
